Becoming a scholar, one question at a time.
In September 2026, I began my EdD — a new chapter in a career spent thinking about learning, teaching and how people develop as educators.
This page will be where I document that journey: the things I’m reading, the questions I’m wrestling with, the ideas that excite me, and the moments when I realise I have considerably more questions than answers.
My current research interest is around leadership identity, imposter syndrome and the experiences of ethnically diverse women in educational contexts.
I’m interested not only in what I might eventually discover, but in what happens while I’m becoming a researcher.
